Changing water availability: a regional study of the consequences & farmers’ adaptation strategies and responses in Tukucha Nala & Panchakanya irrigation system, Nepal

Thesis about irrigation systems in Nepal and their adaptation strategies to the changing water availability. Two environmental changes are to be considered: glacial retreat (in the Himalayas) and rainfall. The author would also like to know if trends in water availability can be seen and how.

C. De Vries has realised about 70 interviews in two different Nepalese irrigation systems.
